Resumption of SAL service to France and other countries

Japan Post announced the resumption of accepting SAL mail items to the countries below as of July 1, 2019.
France, Netherlands, Spain, and Algeria

Service notice for Golden Week holiday: 27th April- 6th May 2019

During 27th April-6th May 2019, Japan will be celebrating a cluster of national holidays. This results in a week off, known as “Golden Week.”
JAUCE will be working as normal during Golden Week, so you can continue to buy from Japan and use the service, as normal.
However, some sellers, stores, and delivery companies will be taking Golden Week off, so there may be a delay in some services.

New Year's shipping schedule - January 1 to 3, 2019 (Japan time)
December 26, 2018
Shipping orders received during the holiday period will be handled after January 4, 2019.
Shipments that have been paid before December 31 will be handed over to the delivery company for shipment within 2018.
Over-sized shipments that have been paid before December 28 will be handed over to the delivery company for shipment within 2018. Shipments paid after the previously mentioned dates will be handled after January 3.

Jauce campaign

Updates on Typhoon Jebi
September 14, 2018
Typhoon Jebi is still affecting international shipments from Japan. There is a backlog of parcels in the Japan Post shipping stations as Kansai International Airport has been closed for almost a week. Hopefully, this will be sorted shortly. Please allow a few additional days in transit for your delivery.

Typhoon Jebi

Kansai International Airport has completely shut due to flooding caused by Typhoon Jebi. As a result, some international cargo may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days for delivery.

New Picture Service
April 28, 2018
You can now preview your won auctions with our optional "Picture Service” before we ship them to you internationally.
You can select the Picture Service option after you win an auction. We'll then send you three (3) pictures of the item when it arrives at JAUCE facilities.
Picture service is available for supported categories only and costs JPY 300 per auction.

Shipping delay and suspension of SAL mail service

Japan Post announced that acceptance of SAL mail items for the below countries is temporarily suspended due to a shipping delay in the destination countries. The countries that may experience this suspension of service include France, Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine, Algeria, Greece, Czech, Brazil, Peru, Bahrain, and Kenya.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
